Brief
A personal project inspired by how difficult it is to disassemble budget furniture.
It soon became the test-bed of developing an easy to build, easy to disassemble, and modular flat-pack furniture system.

Core Considerations
1. Construction - easy to assemble/disassemble
2. Aesthetic variation

The system eliminates adhesives and the use of many fasteners by utilising threaded rod along the length of the unit
Pipe sections divide each shelf. These are compressed when nuts and washers are added on either end of the rod.

The result is that the unit is very strong (since every part is under compression or tension), modular, and adjustable for uneven floors, as well as being easy to make, take apart, and then flat-pack.
